They say the higher the risk, the higher the reward.
Transitioning from a regular employee to a freelancer was a huge step for me.
It feels like entering the world of the unknown. I was wondering. I was clueless. But still, I gave it a shot.
Years of experience working for corporations, a stable job, continued benefits and compensation - I decided to let go of all these things. For what?
To go out of my comfort zone.
To take the risk of failing.
To bet on a one in a million chance of winning.
To conquer the world.
Probably the most significant, yet challenging aspect of navigating the unknown is the willingness to enter the beginner’s mind.
If you decide to start again, you must have humility.
Understand that you are bound to make mistakes and that’s totally okay. The more mistakes you make, the more things you learn.
Don’t be afraid to quit your job and start your own business. If you’re passionate about it, trust me, it will prosper.
Don’t be afraid to look for a new company, you’re great in everything that you do and your craft is your soul.
Don’t be afraid to change careers. It’s okay to explore your abilities. It’s okay to know where you’re great at.
Don’t be afraid to go out of your box, the world has so much more to offer.
Always remember, to live your dreams and embrace life, you have to be fearless and willing to step into the unknown.
We can all start from scratch….again.
Love lots,
Kajea
