Having a bad day?

It’s Friday again!

Hope you are having fun today. But if you are not, there’s probably something that ruined your Friday.

Maybe it’s the deal you 're not able to close today.

Maybe it’s your SLOW internet connection.

Maybe it’s the argument you had with someone.

Maybe it’s your annoying neighbour.

Maybe it’s your demanding boss.

Maybe you’re overloaded at work.

Whatever the reason why you’re having a bad day today, I’m sure it’s something that bothers you a lot.

But don’t worry, I got you!

To help you out, let me give you some tips for coping with stress on a bad day.

#1. Take a hot shower to relax your muscles.

According to studies, a hot shower dilates your blood vessels, increases blood flow and relaxes your muscles. When there is an increase in blood flow, muscle soreness and tightness is reduced. I know sobrang init ngayon, but taking a hot shower at night will definitely help you relax.

#2. Listen to your favourite music to give your mind a free time from stress.

Everyone knows this. Music is power. So, if you are having a bad day just open your spotify or iTunes and play your favourite song or choose any artist that you really like. This will help your mind to be free from stress for a while.

#3. Do something relaxing.

Aside from listening to music, you may also want to do other things that help you relax. It could be your hobbies like painting, dancing, singing, watching movies, watching funny videos on tiktok, or watching your favourite vlogger. Give yourself a couple of minutes to take a break and have some fun.

#4. Talk about your worries.

Sharing your worries with someone that you trust can also help you relax. Wag mong solohin ang mundo. You have trusted friends and family that you can confide with. I’m pretty sure that they will give you some helpful advice. They will also cheer you up and encourage you not to give up.

#5. Acceptance.

Finally and most importantly, you need to learn the value of acceptance. There are things in life that we can’t control and out of our hands. So, if the above mentioned tips are not working, just know that it’s okay to have a bad day and everything will pass.

Happy weekends!

Love lots,

Kajea
