Puhon!

I know it’s been another busy week for us and we can’t wait for the weekend to finally come!

But before we close our laptops or PCs and leave our work desks, I’d like to share one of my new favourite words - puhon.

'Puhon' translates to “someday” or “God's time” in Bisaya.

Had I known this word before, it would probably be my longest time mantra in life.

You see, we face a lot of challenges in life and encounter different situations everyday.

But we do our best to overcome them simply because we are looking at something bigger.

More than the obstacles we have in the present, we hope for a bright future and that’s why we keep on fighting.

So….

If you are getting tired of your situation now…

If you are sick of your daily routine…

If you just wanna give up and forget every reason why you started this journey…

If you’re losing hope….

Take a step back and breathe.

Always remember that whatever it is that we experience right now is part of the process.

It is part of our journey and maybe we need these challenges to make us stronger, and to prepare us for something bigger.

Don’t lose hope.

Hold on to your dreams and most importantly, hold on to yourself.

Patience is a virtue and timing is everything.

God’s timing is never wrong.

So you just have to trust the process.

Puhon.

Someday. In God’s perfect time.

Love lots,

Kajea
